1. What are cookies and equivalent technologies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device to save and retrieve information. This policy also covers equivalent technologies with the same function, such as local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage), pixels or device identifiers.
2. Regulatory framework
- Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), which requires consent for the use of non-exempt data storage and retrieval devices.
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) when cookies process personal data.
- Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the AEPD's Guide on the use of cookies.
- Case law of the CJEU (case C-673/17, 'Planet49'): consent must be free, specific, informed and unambiguous, by means of an affirmative action, without pre-ticked boxes.
3. Who uses the cookies?
The owner of the site is AIRON TEAM SL. Cookies may be first-party (managed by us) or third-party (managed by providers). Today we use a single third party, Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and only if you give your consent.
4. Types of cookies according to their purpose
- Technical or necessary: essential for the operation of the site or to provide a service requested by the user. Exempt from consent.
- Preference or personalisation: they remember options such as the visual theme or the language. When they respond to functionality requested by the user, they are exempt.
- Analytics or measurement: they allow measuring the use of the site in aggregate form. They require consent.
- Marketing or behavioural advertising: they track browsing to personalise ads. They require consent.
5. Current status of this site
This site uses Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies to learn, in aggregate, which pages are visited and where visitors come from. They are installed only if you accept them: until you do, no request is made to Google's servers. We install no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, and Google's advertising signals are turned off.
Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address: it uses it to derive an approximate location and
then discards it. We also never send data that could identify you (name, email or phone). Measurement inside the
app.airon.team application follows this same policy and the same decision: as it shares a domain with
this site, whatever you accept or reject here applies there too.
We also use a first-party, technical localStorage item, theme, whose sole purpose is to remember
your light or dark mode preference. As it responds to functionality that you request, it is exempt from the consent
duty in accordance with art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and the AEPD Guide.

International transfers: Google may process measurement data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (Google LLC, USA). Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Google acts as a processor on our behalf.
7. Legal basis
Technical and preference technologies requested by the user are based on their functional necessity (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). Any non-exempt cookie (analytics or marketing) will be based on your prior, informed and unambiguous consent.
8. Consent management
The first time you visit you will see a notice with two options at the same level: accept or reject. Rejecting takes no more clicks than accepting, and until you decide nothing is loaded from Google. Your decision is stored for 180 days and you can change it whenever you like with this button:
If you withdraw consent we stop sending data to Google immediately; cookies already installed can be removed from your browser as explained in section 9.
9. How to manage or delete the storage
You can delete local storage and cookies from your browser settings:
Deleting the theme item will simply make the site reapply the default system theme.
